is a practicing architect, urban designer and environmental activist. He is the co-founder of VITTI Sthapati Brindo Ltd., an architectural design that has been working in Bangladesh for over three decades. The firm aims to promote responsible architecture for society and the environment in the country. He graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in 1991 and is a Fellow at the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). In 2007, he became an Eisenhower Fellow on the topic of “Challenges of Urbanization.”
